McCormack Wyn is a professional cellist in the Grand Rapids area. He is the cellist for the Grand Rapids String Quartet and Associate Principal Cellist for Holland Symphony. McCormack has an active performing life, playing regularly for private events and recitals with his wife Lydia, as well as Grand Rapids Civic Theater and other local symphonies and songwriters. He teaches many private cello students and is also the cello faculty at the Ada Conservatory of Music. McCormack loves to share his joy for classical music with students and audiences alike.
Lydia Wyn is a pianist and piano instructor in the West Michigan area. Her passions include teaching piano to students of all ages and collaborating with many different instruments. Lydia performs actively in her community, playing for churches, weddings, and other events, and has participated in various ensembles including Grand Valley’s New Music Ensemble. She is a piano instructor at Ada Conservatory of Music and accompanies for classes at the Grand Rapids Ballet. Lydia graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and her Piano Pedagogy Certification from Grand Valley State University. She has won several competitions, including first place in the Grand Valley 2022 Concerto Competition. Lydia enjoys sharing classical music with others and loves having the opportunity to perform concerts in the community.
